Fishing at Troutbagger Farm

The Farm is run by ex-charter-boat captain and Springbok angler Gary Maas. Troutbagger Farm offers excellent fishing in three dams. The best fish caught so far weighed just on 7.4kg-trout and 6,0kg-bass, and anglers have had a lot of broken tackle to land these beauties – so be prepared
Rods and tackle can be hired from the farm, Gary offers a guiding service to fish for trout and bass on other dams in the area for professionals and beginners.
Springholm and Brahman Hills Fishing

If fishing’s your game, well then you’re in luck. You don’t have to stir from from the comfort of your accommodation to enjoy the onsite fishing facilities. The dam on Brahman Hills is stocked with bass and ready for your rod. Or you could drop a line in at Springholm dam where you can try your hand at catching trout.
The local Wildfly shop in Nottingham Road sells anything you could possibly want or you could bring your own fishing gear and you don’t need a licence to fish here, however, it is reserved for guests.
